Pat Nekola began working on behalf of people with Alzheimer’s disease when her mother became afflicted with the disease. She travels the country conducting seminars with activity staff in care facilities, consulting with families dealing with Alzheimer’s and training groups to entertain residents of care facilities. She also conducts programs in libraries. Pat holds B.S. and M.A. degrees in education and has designed programs for the elderly, working as an Activity Consultant Trainer. She is a strong advocate for the elderly.

Pat also owned and operated a catering service in Wisconsin for 18 years. She continues to entertain and cook, bringing these skills to the elderly and activity directors at elder care facilities.
